Marian Rivera says there are a lot of opportunities for housewives to earn extra income for the family. "Kailangan lang time management at siyempre abilidad."

Marian Rivera has a gift suggestion to those who want to avoid the Christmas rush.

“As early as now, dapat pinag-iisipan na iyan, pinaghahandaan na, kaya sakto yung layered fruitcake, di ba.

“Madaling gawin, pasok sa budget, at higit sa lahat, labor of love ito,” she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Prime Mom Club’s holiday workshop yesterday, November 17.

The yummy dessert won’t take 20 minutes to prepare, and will only require four ingredients: condensed milk, whipped cream, bread, and tropical fruit cocktail.

She began, "Condensed milk at whipped cream, pagsamahin.

"Kailangan lang nating ma-mix siya nang bonggang-bongga para mag-equal yung [texture ng] whipped cream at condensed milk.”

Next, find a jar or a container.

“Diyan ilalagay ang fruitcake so nasa iyo iyan kung gusto mong magarbo na tipong puwedeng i-display yung fruitcake mo or kahit microwaveable lang, tutal masarap naman.”

Ready the next ingredient: The bread.

“Kahit anong bread, pero mas maganda kung malambot.

NOOD KA MUNA!

“Ilagay mo siya sa jar then ilagay na natin ang ating secret weapon.”

Marian was referring to the tropical fruit cocktail that she is endorsing.

She continued, "Layering lang ito. Bread, tropical fruit cocktail, whipped cream then condensed milk, 'tapos, bread ulit, fruit cocktail, whipped cream then condensed milk. Repeat lang.”

In a jiffy, she showed her no-bake fruitcake.

"Magugustuhan ito ng kids,” the wife of Dingdong Dantes remarked.

She added, “Puwede ring pang-business ito kasi masarap na dessert, e, at hindi kailangan nang malaking capital.”

DOMESTICATED SIDE

The famous star takes pride in the fact that she is the “reyna ng kusina” in their home.

“Every thing” that concerns her husband and daughter Zia, "hands-on talaga ako.”

She underlined, “Ayokong pinapaubaya ko sa helper. Kinakarir ko talaga, at yung ang nagpapasaya sa akin.”

Does she have plans of building her own food empire?

“As of now, since magdadalawa na yung anak ko, dun muna ako sa Flora Vida,” referring to her online flower shop.

Marian ended, “Pag minsan pagod na pagod na ako, yung 'me time' ko, pag-aayos ng flowers. Nakaka-relax talaga."
