K-pop groups Black Pink, Taeyeon, and Momoland to perform in Manila

Here's what you need to know about the Philippine concerts of Black Pink, Momoland, and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation.

Three K-pop acts—Black Pink, Momoland, and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation—are coming to Manila in the next three months to perform their chart-topping hits for their Filipino fans.

Here are important details you need to know about their concerts:

BLACK PINK

YG Entertainment's newest girl group Black Pink—composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé—will hold its first-ever solo concert in the Philippines in 2019.

Black Pink's In Your Area Tour will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on February 2, 2019.

The concert is presented by YG and promoted by Live Nation, MMI Live, and Pulp Live World.

The four-member idol group debuted on August 8, 2016, with its album Square One containing the songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah."

On November 1, 2016, the group released another single album titled Square Two, which included the chart-topping hits "Playing with Fire" and "Stay." In June 2017, Black Pink released another digital single titled "As If It's Your Last."

The group's latest song "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" from its first extended play album titled Square Up peaked at the top spot of several music charts in South Korea.

On November 23, producers announced the ticket prices for the Manila leg of In Your Area Tour.

Ticket prices are as follows: PHP19750, PHP15550, PHP15050, PHP14550, PHP13550, PHP12550,
PHP11550, PHP7550, PHP5650, and PHP2650.

MOMOLAND

MLD Entertainment's nine-member girl group Momoland will be returning to the Philippines to stage two fan-meet events.

Momoland—composed of Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Daisy, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy—is best known for the viral hits "Bboom Bboom" and "Baam."

The girl group will be having an exclusive meet and greet with Frontrow members this December 3 at ABS-CBN Vertis North in Quezon City.

Momoland will return on January 25, 2019 for a fan meet with their Filipino fans at the Araneta Coliseum. Ticketing details are yet to be revealed.

TAEYEON OF GIRLS' GENERATION

Taeyeon of Girls' Generation is coming back to Manila for her first-ever solo concert in the Philippines.

The 29-year-old K-pop singer will be performing her songs at New Frontier Theater in Quezon City this December 14 as part of her 'S... Taeyeon Concert tour.

Taeyeon is expected to perform her chart-topping solo tracks including "Why," "I," "Rain," and "Fine," among many others.

Pinoy SONEs (fans) can look forward to seeing her perform songs of Girls' Generation such as "Holiday" and "All Night."

Tickets to Taeyeon's Manila concert were reportedly sold out in just five minutes. They are priced at:

Fans have been requesting for an additional date for Taeyeon's concert in Manila.

According to local promoters of the concert, Pulp Live World, Taeyeon and her management are already considering the possibility of moving the concert to a bigger venue in order to accommodate fans.

This will Taeyeon's third time to perform in the Philippines. The first time she performed in the country was with Girls' Generation at the Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert in January 2013. Her last visit was in 2015 when Girls' Generation performed for the Best of Best KPOP concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Aside from Manila, Taeyeon will also stage concerts in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore.
