Andi Manzano has been teaching her daughter Olivia the concept of sharing.
Together with her husband GP Reyes, they see to it that their three-year-old tot won't grow up spoiled or entitled.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Yes, I’m with her every day. So I think it helps also that she sees what I do…
"And there’s this parang balance na, for example, you had a huge party, your next would be for charity."
Hence, after their extravagant gender reveal, where the couple’s announcement was projected on a huge building in Bonifacio Global City, Andi’s baby shower took place at the maternity ward of Fabella Hospital.

The former DJ continued, "Once you start them young, and then you really set the—what do you call that—the foundation, that, you know, it’s just being kind, caring, that there’s joy even in the simplest things. It doesn't have to be always grand."
Does she have any rule each time Olivia asks her to buy something?
"No naman, walang rules. It’s as simple as letting her understand that she cant easily have every thing she asks.
"Like recently, I said, 'If you want a toy, you have to give a toy.'"
The technique does not only teach her daughter the concept of sharing, but also prevents clutter in their home.
"We have been slowly giving out her toys. So when Christmas comes, she already goes like, ‘Okay, this toy will go to someone else and it will make her happy.’”
Most of Olivia’s baby stuff however will be used by her baby sister.
"We’re using mostly Olivia’s stuff, which is very matipid. I haven’t shopped. January is my due date, but I don’t feel like doing a major shopping.
"In fact, hindi pa nga nagsi-sink in sometimes na magiging mommy na ulit ako."
At the J.Co Wonderland event, where this interview was held, PEP.ph saw her carrying Olivia a couple of times.
Laughing, the pregnant celebrity said, "Mga one minute max."
Is she still allowed to eat sweets?
"We all love J.CO donuts, di ba? My O.B. rin is very lenient since it has been an easy pregnancy."
How about her daughter? Does Andi let Olivia eat sweets?
"For me, she can have it as merienda, as breakfast, but siyempre for the main meals, like dinner or lunch, it’s usually as a dessert."
OLIVIA AS FUTURE ATE
Meanwhile, Olivia is "so ready to become an ate."
Andi added, "And every time I say like, ‘Oh you’re my baby,” she gets mad at me.
"'I’m an ate.' She says she’s an ate. So I think…our family is ready."
