Dimples Romana's "journey" was closely followed by public.
She was 13 when she entered showbiz via the television series Esperanza. She was 18 when she got married and left showbiz temporarily.
She is also proof that starting a family at an early age does not put limitations to a person's goals.
Since Dimples returned to showbiz in 2007, projects have been pouring nonstop.
In a previous interview, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Hindi ko naramdaman at all na just because may asawa at anak na ako, e, ang dami kong nami-miss sa buhay. Hindi talaga."
Yesterday, October 28, the Kapamilya star showed that she has not been remiss as well in her duties as a daughter.
Dimples staged a tear-jerking surprise for her mom Virgie and her siblings.
She brought them to a house, which was supposedly owned by a family friend.
But seeing their photos on the wall and the "Welcome Home" sign, and hearing Dimples say, "Kasi bahay mo 'to" were enough for Mommy Virgie to clap her hands in glee and cry.
In Dimples's caption, she thanked her husband Boyet Ahmee for being very supportive.
She also revealed how her series Kadenang Gintoi, which is presently airing on ABS-CBN, helped her acquire the house—which has enough rooms for her mom and two siblings, not to mention a huge backyard and front yard.

"That moment when you tell your mama that the house you visited isn’t really your inaanak’s but hers. Maraming Salamat Jane Frances Suero, Delfin and Daryl Delfin for being our accomplice.
"Mama was obviously surprised. Coming into my birth month, we surprised my Mama, Bam, and Angeli with their new home. Simple lang ito pero sana magbigay ito ng magandang simula sa kanila at maraming magagandang alaala.
"Salamat sa aking mahal na asawa for letting me do this for my family, hindi lahat may asawang mapagparaya katulad mo, thank you for allowing me to do this for them. You are THE BEST Boyet Ahmee.
"Ang kuwento?
"For the longest time, my Mama lives in the same home where we lived nung buhay pa si Papa. Sentimental value. Naiintindihan ko naman.
"Pero about 2 years ago, we spoke at parang ready na siya. Then two months ago, katatapos lang namin sa Bagani. I was planning on resting for a month before doing another teleserye.
"But sabi nga, 'Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.'
"A week later, I already found myself asking the Lord what Kadenang Ginto was for. I dedicate each show I do for either a property or business each time and, this time, I didn’t know why the Lord has blessed me with Kadenang Ginto. Ito na pala yun.
"I went to Papa in Manila Memorial to ask him if he could send angels to whisper to me what Kadenang Ginto is going to be for. And my Papa Bong made way.
"We found a lovely, cozy home, close to where I live, had rooms enough for my Mama and siblings, with a huge backyard and front yard. Sakto. The Lord made way.
"Kagabi, we gathered the whole family for dinner, and it’s our tradition to bring everyone together every weekend to spend time with one another. Kaya wala din silang kaalam-alam.
"We rode in one van. 'Tapos we had our inaanaks call us to randomly invite us over to their NEW house. Bumaba kaming lahat to tour the house. I already printed out our family photos and hung them on a wall para habang nag-tour sila, makita nila yung mga pictures namin.
"Ayun, sabi ng nanay ko, 'Bakit kami nandito sa pictures?' At sabi ko, 'Kasi bahay mo ito.'
"Mama, Bam and Angeli, si Daniela ay para po sa inyo na."
