Through a four-minute narrative clip, proud parents Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes looked back on how their firstborn daughter Maria Letizia, fondly called Baby Zia, changed their lives.
Titled “Three Years of Happiness,” the Kapuso royalties shared precious snippets of their family life in the video, which was posted earlier today, November 24, 2018, on their YouTube channel.
This was meant as a tribute to Baby Zia who turned three yesterday, November 23.
To create buzz among their fans, Marian and Dingdong posted a teaser on their respective Instagram accounts.
The Kapuso Primetime Queen’s wrote, “Ngayong 3 years old na siya, gusto naming ibahagi ang ligaya na dulot ng kaniyang makulay na pagkatao—isang exciting na proseso na parati naming ipinagpapasalamat.”
Meanwhile, Dingdong said, “Last night before going to bed, Marian and I reminisced about how our little Letizia changed our lives.”
The video starts off with the couple describing their little one.
Marian began, “Si Zia yung bata na matindi yung sense of humor niya kaya siguro sobrang kulit niya [laughs]...
“Pero dun sa sobrang kulit na yon, ano siya, e... friendly siya, and at the same time sobrang sweet na bata.
Dingdong added, “Amazing kung gaano siya naging ganito ka-jolly na tao, friendly…
“'Tapos, she always wants to start something with someone, like a conversation… very eager siya to explore the world.”
The proud momma then recalled, “Testigo ako dyan, kasi especially kapag nagta-travel tayo tas may nakikita siyang mga bata, palagi siyang lumalapit para itanong, ‘What’s your name? Hi, I’m Zia, what’s your name?’ Palagi siyang ganon, e.”
Asked to name the most rewarding part of becoming Zia’s parents, Marian said, “Pag palagi niyang sinasabi na ‘You know what mama, I love you so much. And I want you to be happy.’
“Kasi palagi niya yung sinasabi sa'kin.”
Adding that, “Hindi ako magsasawang turuan siya araw-araw at i-remind siya kung gano natin siya kamahal.
“Eto talaga yung dream come true ko, yung maging isang nanay, at tinupad niya yun.”

The celebrity dad then left a sweet note for his princess.
“Letizia, whatever you need in life, I’m just here to provide.
“Just promise me, in whatever you do, don’t be afraid.
“That’s how we got you, that’s how we got here. That’s how we love you.
“You are our answered prayer.
“And now that you’ve been praying with us, you’re prayers have also been answered…
“I will not stand in your way when you make bigger decisions in life but of course, we will make sure to lead you to what we think is right.
“But until that day, lundag lang nang lundag bay-beh. I love you.”
The Dantes family is currently in Hong Kong as part of Baby Zia’s birthday wish to visit Disneyland.
